Motorsports tickets to the Sam's Town 400 have been a part of the NASCAR tickets market since the race became a Craftsman Truck Series event in 1997. The event has gone by several names, including most recently the O'Reilly 400k and the Chex 400k. For whatever reason, the race has dropped the "k," yet it continues to be only 250 miles, approximately 400 kilometers. Brendan Gaughan has had the most success at Texas Motor Speedway in the 400k, winning the race in '02 and '03, and placing in the top five in two other finishes.
