You're definitely in the right spot if you're expecting to see some top-tier basketball, as the
AT&T Center always seems to be setting up for one amazing game or another. The Spurs are always looking to light up the
scoreboard and give their fans something to cheer about, which is why it tends to be a good idea to keep a lookout for the
top matchups of the season so you can make it out to see the big game the way it was meant to be seen. There is nothing quite
like actually being there watching some of the most explosive athletes on the planet do their thing, so don't even think about
missing a second of the rim-rocking excitement.
But you're way off if you think that NBA games are the only things that
go down at the AT&T Center. Though the sporting events are obviously a must-see, you can also catch some of the very best
musicians from today as well, and one look at the schedule and you might find a spectacular performance from Trans Siberian
Orchestra, Justin Timberlake or plenty of other options, making this venue one you definitely don't want to skip. But you
also shouldn't skip the parking passes either, as it will bring you right to the big event you've been waiting for in style.
History of the AT&T Center
Opening in 2002, the AT&T Center got off to an exciting start with the local
community, and from there it was on from year to year and season to season. The AT&T Center has held some major concert
events, wrestling matches and other local festivals and activities, making it one of the very best places in the area to see
some of the most spectacular sporting events around. The AT&T Center really showed what it was capable of when it expanded
to nearly 40,000 for a Spurs NBA Finals game in 1999, showing the type of enthusiasm that this area has for their beloved
home team. There is nothing quite like the experience of being there at the AT&T Center is heating up, but that's not
something that you're going to learn sitting at home.
San Antonio Spurs regular season
tickets entered the NBA tickets market in 1973, after a few years being called the Dallas Chaparrals. And it didn't take too
long for them to become nothing short of a staple of the surrounding community. Thanks to some amazing winning streaks and
plenty of great players, not to mention a handful of titles, the Spurs have been one of the most prominent Western Conference
franchises for quite a while, and now they're in another exciting era of basketball that has everyone buzzing around town.
Though the franchise started in Dallas, they've really found their home in San Antonio.
But just because the Spurs have
a very bright future ahead of them, that doesn't mean there haven't already been some unbelievable games that went down at
the AT&T Center. The AT&T Center may have just missed most of the David Robinson days, but that doesn't mean there
haven't been some amazing games since the AT&T Center opened up thanks to a dynasty hat has made the Spurs one of the
most dominant franchises in all of sports.
The Spectator Experience
Dating back all the way to the Ancient
Greeks and Romans, people have been pouring in to see unbelievable spectator sports, and it doesn't get much better than seeing
world-class ballers clash on the hardwood in front of tens of thousands of fans. Things have obviously changed a bit since
the early days and there are plenty of options out there these days for sports fans, but it doesn't get any more exciting
than basketball played at its highest possible level. When two amazing teams take to the court for a highly anticipated game,
there are few sporting events that can hold a candle to the atmosphere that you'll experience in the crowd, as NBA games are
routinely packed with passion and energy you can't find anywhere but the stands.
