San Diego Padres Spring Training Tickets

San Diego Padres Spring Training tickets - Padres Spring Training Schedule

2015 San Diego Padres Spring Training Schedule

There's nothing quite like being there when the San Diego Padres hit the field looking to bring home a big win, including when it's in the regular season and the action is going down in Peoria, Arizona in the Phoenix area. Though the regular season is obviously great, it's in spring training that you'll get a completely different perspective on your favorite team, which is why Peoria Sports Complex is always hopping with passion and fanfare every time the spring rolls around. This is where the top ballplayers in the world come together looking to hone their skills and gear up for another season in which absolutely anything can happen, providing more than enough incentive to head out and join in the excitement from the get-go this season.

If you're looking for a great game loaded with explosive playmakers that can turn the score of a game on a dime, then you're definitely in the right spot, as these N.L. League West foes have been lighting up the scoreboard for decades against one another. There has never been a better time to put down the remote so you can snag your favorite team gear and head out to the stands so you can join in the heart-pounding excitement first-hand. In 2014, the Padres had a couple of rough patches but they also showed some tenacity and some upside thanks to guys like Seth Smith, Tyson Ross and more.

So with the buzz starting to take off down in Peoria, you can count on there being plenty of fan support at your side throughout spring training. One peek at the spring training schedule and you'll also see all kinds of great matchups, including cross-league teams like Seattle, Chicago White Sox, Texas and more to give their fans an opportunity to see ball clubs that fans don't always get to see. Put it all together and there is a little something for everyone this spring, making spring training the perfect family-friendly atmosphere to get ready for the next exciting season of Padres' baseball.

West, giving you plenty of reasons to get out and join in the excitement this season. Be there for all of the biggest and most anticipated games as the Padres take aim at the top of the standings in another heart-pounding year of baseball. With a balanced club filled with rising stars looking to make a name for themselves, the Padres have some significant upside as they look to take a step forward for the franchise, creating quite a buzz around Peoria as fans eagerly turn up to see if they have what it takes.

Spring Training the Experience

Though there are a few other sporting options out there, Major League Baseball remains the classic game that fans have been enjoying for generations – a trend that isn't likely to slow down any time soon as the best ballplayers in the world continue to battle it out on the diamond. But even though we know regular season games are a must, spring training has a vibe all to its own, and you'll understand that loud and clear if you make it out to see the Padres in action this spring. Being down in Arizona under the sunshine with a great crowd at your side and some serious talent down below, the entire spring training experience will completely speak for itself.

San Diego Padres History

MLB tickets to see the Padres have been around for a long time at this point, with a steady stream of great players coming through their roster over the years. Though the Padres haven't brought home the big one just yet, they've had some close calls, and you never know when they're going to push through and make it happen. Over the years, guys like Tony Gwynn, Trevor Hoffman, Greg Vaughn, Ken Caminiti and many more have dominated for the Padres, helping to create a legacy of great ballplayers that continues to this day. As the Padres look to make another move toward the postseason, this is a team that you'll definitely want to keep your eye on as the Padres look to pull together and challenge all the other top-tier teams in the N.L. West. With the Padres eying their first trip to the postseason since 2006, it's the perfect time to be a San Diego baseball backer.

San Diego Padres Trivia

Do you know what Tony Gwynn's career-high in stolen bases was?

The answer is 56, as Gwynn was a terrific dual threat throughout much of his career. Though he would later gain the reputation of being simply one of the best pure hitters in the history of the game, Gwynn was a dynamic base-stealer during the 1980s, and likely would have topped the league at least once if it wasn't for Rickey Henderson. Not only did Gwynn steal 56 bases in 1987 but he also stole 40 in 1989 and more than 30 on four different occasions. That's not too bad for a player who never struck out more than 40 times in a season.
