San Francisco Giants Postseason Tickets

San Francisco Giants Playoff tickets

San Francisco Giants Playoffs

Giants baseball has been a tradition for a long time in the Bay Area, and it helps that in recent seasons the Giants has been the cream of the crop in Major League Baseball. With multiple titles in just a few seasons, the Giants have shown that it's still dominant pitching that can win it all if you get a few great hurlers in sync. There is nothing quite like being there when the game is on the line and the Giants are digging in, and the playoffs is where it all gets taken to the next level thanks to the intensity of the competition and the passion of the crowd. Once you're there for a huge postseason match-up, you'll understand loud and clear what all the buzz is about, as Major League Baseball seen at this level is simply something to behold.

After running the table and bringing home another great World Series win as recently as 2012, the Giants are back looking to make a big move in the N.L. West. It's never easy against teams like the Dodgers, Rockies, D-Backs and the Padres, but the Giants have one of the best pitching staffs in the league and are known for dicing up lineups, which always makes them a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the postseason. With another well-balanced team and lofty aspirations, the Giants will once again be one of those teams to look out for this season.

The Experience

When it comes to seeing a great sporting event packed with amazing athletes, you've definitely come to the right place, as Major League Baseball brings together some of the best ballplayers all over the world. Come out and see a game packed with clutch hits, great catches and electrifying stolen bases that you'll have to see first-hand to truly appreciate. And even though we all know there are plenty of ways to follow the action, there is nothing quite like being in the middle of the action alongside thousands of your fellow fans for all the crucial at-bats of a big game. America's Pastime remains one of the top spectator sports that you'll find anywhere, and each postseason game tends to be a great reminder.

The Team

The Giants have another talented squad anchored by Buster Posey, Madison Bumgarner, Tim Lincecum and more, making this one of the most balanced teams in the entire league and a franchise that is always thinking about making a World Series run. Known as a team that can a little bit of everything on the diamond, instead of just seeing for the fences, the Giants are the embodiment of National League tradition, guaranteeing an exciting brand of baseball that usually ends with plenty of nail-biting moments. With the Giants always in the middle of one playoff run or another, this is a team that you definitely will want to keep an eye on.

San Francisco Giants Trivia

Did you know that Mel Ott holds the all-time franchise record for RBIs in a single season?

Though superstars like Willie Mays, Barry Bonds, Willie McCovey and several others tend to get most of the credit for this franchise, Mel Ott remains one of the greatest players to ever play the game, and with plenty of Giants' records to prove it. In 1929, it all came together for Ott, as he drove in 151 runs – in shorter season than today – and set the all-time franchise record that stands to this day. Ott would go on to make it to a dozen All-Star games for the New York Giants and solidify himself as one of the top players in franchise history.

San Francisco Giants History

If you were to travel back in time, all the way back to 1888, you would have seen the New York (baseball) Giants win their first Pennant. The franchise moved to the Bay Area in the 1950s, and MLB tickets to see the Giants play in the postseason have been around regularly ever since that first Pennant was won. Thanks to a couple of recent titles, the Giants are one of the most successful franchises in modern baseball, and they've added a couple of exciting World Series titles in recent years thanks to an unbelievable roster loaded with stars. In the recent era, it all came together in 2010 when the Giants beat the Rangers in a memorable Fall Classic, and then they did it all over again by running the tables in 2012 by taking down the Detroit Tigers in a sweep.

The Fans

AT&T Park is always a great venue to see a big game, particularly when it's in the postseason and the intensity gets taken up to a whole new level that you'll have to see first-hand to truly appreciate. Be there for all of the bench-gripping moments as the Giants hit the diamond hoping to give their fans another unbelievable postseason loaded with great moments that will have everyone talking about around town. Even though everyone knows the regular season is a must, the postseason is a whole new ballgame, so to speak, and seeing the Giants take the field against a talented foe during the playoffs will bring the whole baseball experience to a completely different level.
