The San Jose Civic Auditorium seats approximately 3,000 patrons for various types of performances. This venue sees its fair share of top musical performers. The auditorium provides space as a concert hall and four meeting rooms. No outside food or beverage is permitted in this venue. The auditorium provides additional exhibit and general assembly space in conjunction with the convention center and Parkside Hall.

The San Jose Civic Auditorium is located on W San Carlos St. just east of Route 87 and slightly north of Interstate 280. The venue can be found from Interstate 280 by taking the Vine Street/Almaden Boulevard exit and making a left on Almaden Blvd. From Route 87, take the San Carlos Street/Auzerais Avenue exit, turn right onto Woz Way and make a left on S. Almaden Blvd.

For those using public transportation, the venue can be reached from the Fremont BART station by taking Express Bus Route 180 to 2nd & Santa Clara and transferring to Bus Route 23, which stops at the San Jose Civic Auditorium.

It hosts a variety of events including concerts, performing arts, general assembly, community and sporting events.
