San Jose State Spartans Football Schedule

Attending a big time college football game is an experience like no other and San Jose State Spartans fans would be able to tell you exactly why. The Spartans had a decent 2013 season in which they finished 6-6 overall and are looking to do even better in 2014. They got the season off to a great start with a win over North Dakota and had a big game against number 5 Auburn and should be ready to take on all of their stiffest Mountain West Conference opponents as the conference season gets underway. The Spartans will be looking to pull of some big conference wins and make a move up the conference standings but will need all the help they can get from their fans at Spartans Stadium to do so. Get your Spartans tickets from StubHub early as tickets for the best seats never stay available long.

The Spartans have plenty of big home games coming up including an October 4th showdown with the UNLV Rebels which will be the Spartans' second home conference game. If San Jose State is going to be a contender in the Mountain West Conference, winning as many home conference games as possible is a must. On November 1st the Colorado State Rams come to San Jose for another big conference game that could be one of the biggest home games of the year. November 15th marks the final home game of the 2014 season for the San Jose State Spartans when they go up against the Hawaii Warriors in a game that could have huge implications on the Mountain West Conference standings. Every die-hard Spartans fan will definitely want to be in the stands for this one as it will be the last chance to cheer on SJSU and try to give them some momentum before they head off to a bowl game.

San Jose State Spartans Football Team

The Spartans have been resurgent in recent years and were impressive last year during their first campaign under Ron Caragher. Things have been looking up for the Aztecs early on this season behind excellent running by running backs Jarrod Lawson and Tyler Ervin. If they can continue to remain productive and quarterback Blake Jurich can manage the game and make some clutch passes the Spartans could have one of the most potent offenses in the Mountain West. Big things appear to be in store for the Spartans this season and every SJSU fan will want to be inside Spartan Stadium to cheer them on along the way.

San Jose State Spartans Football Conference

The Spartans are one of the newer members of the Mountain West Conference but already have been developing rivalries within the conference. There are twelve universities in the Mountain West for football which are divided into two divisions. The West Division contains Fresno State, San Diego State, San Jose State, UNLV, Nevada and Hawaii, while the East division is made up of Utah State, Boise State, Colorado State, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Air Force. In the 2013 season Fresno State won the West division and Utah State won the East. Schools like Boise State, Fresno State, San Diego State, and Utah State are the perennial contenders but you never know which team or teams could rise up to take control of the up for grabs Mountain West Conference.

The Experience

When your favorite team storms the gridiron for an electrifying match up against a rival, you'll understand the difference between seeing them on your fancy TV and seeing them from the stands. Once you've seen the game the way it was meant to be seen, the TV experience suddenly feels like taking a look at the Grand Canyon on a postage stamp. Be there for all of the hard-hitting college football action, from highlight reel runs and eye-popping catches to clutch throws that will have you jumping out of your seat in no time. With a game loaded with players that know how to put on a show, you'll see first-hand why the college football has become the cream of the crop in American sports. There is nothing quite like seeing college football alongside tens of thousands of fans, and that's definitely the case when it comes to seeing the San Jose State Spartans. As always, San Jose State Spartans tickets are always there for the taking with a little help from StubHub, the only ticketing outlet you ever need to turn to for access to the most anticipated games on the college football calendar. Before you know it the Spartans are methodically driving down the field with the clock dwindling late in the fourth quarter, with the intensity rising with each snap of the ball as fans eagerly anticipate the outcome. We all know you can follow the action on your smart phone or watch from a bar down the street, but it's a completely different level of experience to be there to watch all the drama unfold before your very eyes.
