        Spawned out of Don King's touring band, Sawyer Brown was created in 1980 after King stopped touring and the band liked working together. Named after the Nashville Street where they rehearsed, the boys found success in the talent show Star Search and have continued to commercialize on their country roots into the most recent millennium.
