Seattle Mariners Road Games

Seattle Mariners Road Games tickets

2014 Seattle Mariners Road Schedule

The Seattle Mariners are back and ready to make a move up the always competitive A.L. West standings, giving fans plenty of reasons to head out and see a few road games as they look to put it all together and make it happen. Of course, it helps that they have their fair share of talent, including new additions like superstar Robinson Cano and dominant hurler Felix Hernandez, giving them a balanced roster that can do a little bit of everything on the baseball field. Once you're there watching the big game the way it was meant to be seen, you'll definitely be glad that you're not sitting anywhere else.

Get out and watch the Mariners look to make it happen in another intense season of Major League Baseball, one sure to be filled to the brim with nail-biting moments that you'll be talking about a long time after it's over. When you favorite player strolls to the plate in a tough spot, with thousands of fans waiting on pins and needles, you'll understand the difference between watching on your limited high-def TV, as you'll feel the energy of the crowd in a way that you simply can't duplicate.

The Experience

There is something special about being in the stands when your favorite team storms the diamond, though that's something that you have to see for yourself. Baseball has gained the reputation as America's Pastime for a reason, and it isn't because there is a lack of excitement from game to game. As baseball has gotten more and more global, Major League Baseball remains the premier league, which is something you'll see for yourself if you get out to a great game loaded with the stars of both today and tomorrow. When you're there alongside thousands of your fellow fans, even when it's on the road, you'll see Major League Baseball from a completely different level.

The Team

The first time that MLB tickets were available for Seattle Mariners games was 1977, and over time the Mariners have had plenty of great moments that have thrilled their strong fan base. The Mariners have won multiple division titles and had some of the greatest players ever, like Ken Griffey Jr., Randy Johnson and Alex Rodriguez, giving them a long history of exciting baseball. The Mariners schedule is never lacking in exciting competition, so grab your favorite team gear and get ready to see a game the way it was meant to be seen. With a newly reloaded roster that has fans buzzing all over Seattle, this is a team that you don't want to miss out on.

Seattle Mariners Trivia

Did you know that Ken Griffey Jr. hit 56 homers in back-to-back seasons?

In the 1990s, nobody was more dominant in the batter's box than Ken Griffey Jr., and it really all came together in a four-season stretch from 1996 through 1999. After a memorable stretch in the 1995 postseason, including a record five homers in the divisional series, Griffey would average more than 52 homers a game during that span, taking home an MVP in 1997 and finishing in the running each year.

Seattle Mariners History

First founded back in the late-1970, the Mariners have definitely had quite a few memorable seasons, with a steady stream of great players dominating on the diamond and giving their fans one great year after another. The old home was the Kingdome, a place that was the backdrop for some of the greatest games in history. One of the most memorable, of course, was when Edgar Martinez doubled down the line in the A.L.D.S. against the Yankees, and Ken Griffey Jr. flew around third base and slid home safely to cap an unbelievable come from behind series win. Since then, the Mariners would move on to Safeco Field, where fans watched players like Ichiro dominant and lead them back to the postseason yet again.

The Fans

Though Safeco Field is one of the best places to see a baseball game in the country, there is nothing quite like being in the stands when your team takes to the field in hostile territory. Don't even think about being left out of a game packed with exciting plays, from towering homers and spectacular catches to dramatic stolen bases and bench-gripping moments. The Mariners are sure to put on a show all season long, but don't take our word for it. Though it can be tempting to just watch the home games, you'd be missing out on 81 different opportunities to see the Mariners do their thing away from home, and you'll soon be kicking yourself for not making it out to see them on the road a whole lot sooner. Instead of just reading your favorite blog to keep up with your team, hitting the road to see the action up close and personal will provide a completely different level of experience.
