John Vesely is from Menlo Park, California and held many odd jobs while honing his musical skills. He released his first album, Awake, in 2007 and followed it up with A Twist in My Story in 2008. He owes much of his success to MySpace, where fans discovered him. His newfound popularity has given rise to the enormous sales of Secondhand Serenade tickets as well.
