actress on the hit children's show Barney & Friends. In 2007, her starring role as Alex Russo on Wizards of Waverly Place
catapulted her to fame. She scored a record deal with Hollywood Records the following year, and became the founder and lead
singer of the pop band Selena Gomez & the Scene. Their studio albums Kiss & Tell (2009), A Year Without Rain (2010),
