About Shambhala Music Festival

The Shambhala Music Festival is a five-day music festival that occurs every August at the Salmo River Ranch in British Columbia. With a stunning backdrop of nature, the music festival provides six unique stages. Each stage has a separate theme, and the current stages include The Living Room, The Fractal Forest, The Village, The Grove, and more. While most music festivals are bombarded by sponsor involvement, the Shambhala Music Festival is unique in that it does not ask for corporate sponsorship. Instead, the festival runs based on volunteer help. This spirit of the Shambhala Music Festival is reflected in everything that they do, much to the appreciation of fans and attendees. In fact, previous Shambhala Music Festivals have drawn approximately 2000 workers and volunteers who help the event run smoothly. During the off season, the ranch where the event is held becomes a temporary home to volunteers who continue to work throughout the year by repairing and building structures for the year to come.

Each year, the Shambhala Music Festival presents an array of talented musical acts, and this year is no different. This year's lineup is set to include artists like 123MRK, A.Skillz, Astronomar, A Tribe Called Red, B. Traits, Bizarnival, Dimond Saints, Desert Dwellers, Fort Knox Five Vs. Thunderball, Goosebumpz, and many more. Just imagine being able to lounge in nature with your friends, as some of your favorite musical acts perform on several stages. Music festivals abound in summer, but not all are the same. If you and your friends want to hit up a festival this year, better make it the Shambhala Music Festival in beautiful British Colombia.
