Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings Tour Schedule
Since they first started making music together in 1996 Sharon Jones
and the Dap-Kings have been at the forefront of the soul revival music which has taken the music world by storm. Their high
energy live performances have set them apart from the pack and made them one of the most popular touring bands currently on

The end of February will see Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings making
their way across the South, starting with a February 20th gig at State Theater in St. Petersburg, Florida. The tour continues
with stops in Penascola, New Orleans, Houston, and Austin to close out the month. March begins with a show at Minglewood Hall
in Memphis, Tennessee on the 1st before heading to St. Louis, Lawrence, Kansas, Englewood, Colorado, and Santa Fe, New Mexico
before a eries of shows in California. On March 22nd Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings will be at the House of Blues in San Diego
before heading north for a show at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles. A three night stand at the Filmore in San Francisco
takes place on March 27th, 28th, and 29th. In April the band has shows lined up in Portland, Seattle, Victoria, Vancouver,
Winnipeg, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, and Pittsburgh. There is a brief break in the tour before the final three shows at
the end of the month in Charlottesville, Philadelphia, and Boston. A final show on August 20th at the Marvin Gaye What's Going
On concert at the Hollywood Bowl will see Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings sharing the stage with John Legend and the Los Angeles

About the Band
The Dap-Kings are the house Band for the Dap Tone
record label and have teamed up with sou singing sensation Sharon Jones to make music that recaptures the feeling of soul
music during its heyday in the Sixties and Seventies. They have released five albums and use only analog equipment when recording
to capture the sound and feel of old soul records. Their albums include Dap Dippin' with Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Naturally,
100 Days, 100 Nights, I Learned the Hard Way, and 2014's Give the People What They Want.
Jones and the Dap-Kings had been playing gigs all over the world for years before finally scoring a residency at Barcelona's
The Boite. Their shows became enormously poular and were attended by some of the most popular and influential DJs in Europe.
Soon the band ended up recording one of their shows and released it as a limited edition record. This was their first album
Dip Dappin' with Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings which has since been re-released to accommodate demand. After it was initially
released, Dip Dappin' with Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings received excellent reviews and major airplay across Europe. Word
began to spread about the exciting new soul band and before long Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings were recognized as the best
and most popular soul revival act in the world.

summer of 2013 Sharon Jones was diagnosed with bile duct cancer and needed surgery. As a result the band had to cancel several
festival appearances and push back the release of their most recent album Give the People What They Want to January 2014.
Sharon Jones is now cancer free and she and the Dap-Kings returned to touring in November of 2013.
