Australian born Sia, born Sia Furler, started singing in the ‘90s with jazz group Crisp, but didn't find success until she moved from her native Adelaide to London where she immediately landed a spot as backup singer for the popular UK act Jamiroquai. She eventually began releasing her own tracks before the 2002 full length debut “Healing is Difficult” appeared and had success in the UK.
