When guitarist Scott Hedrick first heard Nate Garnette's demo tape, he knew he was getting in on the ground floor of something great. In 2004, while the two were still in college at Ohio University, the two formed Skeletonwtich, along with Nate's brother Chance, bassist Evan Linger and drummer Derick Lau. With a solid band of up-and-coming heavy metal geniuses, the four set out to bring their music to the masses. They recorded their first album, "At One with the Shadows," in 2004. When that first attempt at musical stardom was successful, the band quickly self-produced their EP "Worship the Witch" in 2005 in order to maintain their popularity. Now, years later the band has put out three more albums including "Forever Abomination" that they are currently touring with. Unlike many heavy metal bands that have come before them, Skeletonwitch has maintained creative control over their work, and has put themselves on the map with their unforgettable liver performances.
