Skully Field has been the home field for University of Tulsa football for over seventy years. Ground broke for Skully Field in 1930 and the first football game was played that October. In April 2007 the name was changed to Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium in honor of the H.A. and Mary K. Chapman Trust, which provided half of the estimated cost for the venue s renovation through a financial gift. The new stadium has a capacity of 30,000.
