Skrillex Tour Schedule
In recent years there has been perhaps no more popular or influential electronic music artist
than Skrillex. He appears to be omnipresent, appearing on countless Best of... lists in magazines all over the world as well
as at awards ceremonies including the Grammy Awards and the MTV Video Music Awards. A lot of praise has been heaped upon Skrillex's
music however you really cannot say you know Skrillex until you have experienced his live show. His shows are full of energy,
emanating from both the stage and the crowd as Skrillex really knows how to get a crowd moving. Skrillex has a few high profile
gigs lined up in 2014 and even if it means taking a bit of a road trip it would be well worth the effort to seeing one of
the premiere EDM artists in the world performing live.
On March 22nd Skrillex has what should be an exemplary performance
at Light Nightclub in Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. So far that is the only non-festival appearance that Skrillex has
lined up in 2014 but there is a chance he could be adding more so keep checking back on StubHub for updates. In April Skrillex
will be taking part in both weekends of the annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival which is held in Indio, California
from April 11th through the 13th and again from April 18th through the 20th. As if playing one massive festival was not enough,
Skrillex also has another set lined up for the Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tennessee from June 12th through the 15th.
About the Artist
Born Sonny John Moore in Los Angeles, California, Skrillex was not always known as a DJ. He
started off his foray into music as the singer of From First to Last, a post hardcore band based out of Los Angeles. The band
released two albums: Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count, and Heroine before breaking up in 2007 despite receiving
rave reviews from the likes of Alternative Press. Moore released a debut solo EP in 2009 and then set to work on a full length
solo debut. While working on the album he began performing under the name Skrillex and eventually scrapped plans for the album
and released a free debut EP My Name is Skrillex. He has since released several more EPs: Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites,
More Monsters and Sprites, Bangarang, Make It Bun Dem After Hours, Leaving, and Try It Out. Additionally, he released the
2013 movie soundtrack for the film Spring Breakers. He currently stands as one of the most sought after DJs in the world and
continues to tour and make new music constantly.
Skrillex began gaining attention underground
when he started circulating some of his music online under the name Twipz and this marked the start of his production/DJ career.
Soon he began performing at Los Angeles night clubs under the name Skrillex shortly before releasing his debut EP My Name
is Skrillex as a free download on his MySpace page. It was not long before the EP became a huge hit and club promoters from
all over the world were scrambling to get Skrillex to come play a set at their venue.
shows provide for some of the most exciting concert going experiences anyone could ask for, and performances by Skrillex are
definitely no exception. You've been dancing and partying most of the night and then suddenly the music picks up and the whole
venue seems to surge with energy. Skrillex has taken the stage and started belting out his incomparable sound that has everyone

you think it can't get any better, Skrillex busts into a hit like First of the Year (Equinox), Breakn' a Sweat, Ruffneck,
or Rock n' Roll (Will Take You to the Mountain) and the audience starts to go even crazier. Dancing and sweating the night
away with a crowd full of enthusiastic Skrillex fans is something you will never forget and by the time he ends his set you

Skrillex has had his music used in several different media. Perhaps most
notably, his song Bug Hunt was used in the 2012 animated film Wreck-It Ralph, a movie in which Skrillex himself also appeared.
His song Kick the Hornet's Nest was used on a loop during a solo mission in the game Far Cry 3 and his song Kill EVERYBODY
was used in the trailer for Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. During Skrillex's set at Coachella in 2011 he was joined on stage
by rock band Korn in a surprise appearance.
