        Some of the best competition in college football happens in the Conference USA football conference every season. The SMU Mustangs are a part of Conference USA. The SMU Mustangs football team is a member of the West Division of Conference USA, along with other top teams like Tulsa, Houston, UTEP, Rice and Tulane.

        SMU Mustangs Football Away Games

        The SMU Mustangs football program has been a part of the landscape of Southern Methodist University for generations. In the Mustangs' long history, the football team has had many memorable seasons. Some of those seasons have resulted in the SMU Mustangs being invited to a bowl game like the Cotton Bowl Classic, Sun Bowl, Holiday Bowl and more.

        SMU Mustangs Football away from Gerald Ford Stadium

        Football fans at Southern Methodist University head out to Gerald J. Ford Stadium each year to catch the SMU Mustangs at home. In addition to all of their home games, though, the SMU Mustangs also travel to many other historic stadiums throughout the year. Their road game opponents include other members of Conference USA.
