Die hard Michigan State Spartans fans are well aware of Spartan Stadium, the long time home
of the Spartans football team. The environment at Spartan Stadium is one of the best in all of college football and any sports
fan will want to experience it first hand even if they are not a big MSU fan. Spartan Stadium offers one of the best game
day experiences in the country as Michigan State fans flock to the stadium for every game. This year the Spartans have home
games against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, the Eastern Michigan Eagles, the Wyoming Cowboys, the Nebraska Cornhuskers,
the Michigan Wolverines, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
East Lansing, Michigan
Lansing is located just east of the Michigan capital of Lansing and is home to Michigan State University. One of the most
visited and recognizable landmarks on the MSU campus is a giant boulder known as The Rock which was placed on campus by the
class of 1873 and is five feet high. The Rock serves as a staging area for student groups and is regularly graffitied by the
groups to promote their ideals. If you are looking to take in some performing arts in East Lansing you would be well served
to head out to Hannah Community Center which is home to the Albert A. White Performing Arts Theater. There is plenty of great
dining in the area including El Azteco which is one of the oldest restaurants in the area and well known for some of the best
food in East Lansing.

Spartan Stadium has been renovated once,
in 2005, and expanded five times and can now hold up to 75,005 fans which is a far cry from the 14,000 it could hold when
the stadium first opened in 1923. College football fans across the country know that Spartan Stadium is one of the loudest
and most exciting venues in all of college football, and one visit to the stadium will have you wanting to come back again.
Spartan Stadium occasionally hosts concerts when mega-stars come through town and has seen U2 and the
Rolling Stones hit the stage within its walls.
