Annie Clark's lovely, lilting voice plays through lush arrangements in her critically acclaimed brand of indie-rock. Since releasing her first album in 2007, Clark's music has developed a fervid base of listeners who have grown enraptured with the singer's gorgeous melodies and songwriting. St. Vincent is the name of Annie Clark's solo project. Clark has worked with several prominent indie-rock groups, including the Polyphonic Spree and Sufjan Stevens. In 2007, she released Marry Me, her debut album, which was lauded by critics. She starting earning comparisons to singer-songwriters like Feist, but her music is in a class of its own. In 2009, she released Actor, earning her a much wider group of fans.
St. Vincent tickets will let you see an artist who knows how to get you moving at a rock show. Her sets move easily from pensive singer-songwriter fare to all-out rockers.
