Stanford Cardinal Football Schedule
There are few college football programs in the country that can even come close
to comparing to the success that the Stanford Cardinal can boast. The Cardinal play in the PAC 12 and annually take on some
of the best teams in the country including the likes of USC, Cal, Oregon, UCLA, and others, and Stanford fans relish the opportunity
to see their favorite team battle their way to the top of the conference standings. Stanford finished in first place in the
PAC 12 North division last season and went on to win their second straight PAC 12 title and there is no reason to doubt that
they can be just as successful in 2014. The defense was particularly impressive in spring ball which is great news for a squad
that had to replace several key players on that side of the ball along with their defensive coordinator. Defensive end Henry
Anderson was a stand out and should be ready to set the league in fire by the time conference play begins. Equally as impressive
was quarterback Kevin Hogan who sits at the precipice of another huge season with several of his favorite targets returning.
Hogan has only lost one game to a top 25 team in eleven tries and Stanford fans should expect similar success this year. Could
three consecutive PAC 12 championships be in line for the Cardinal? It is certainly not outside the realm of possibility,
but the team will be looking for all of the support it can get from its biggest fans in order to do so.
6th will be the first PAC 12 home game for the Cardinal when the USC Trojans come to Stanford Stadium. This could potentially
be a preview of the PAC 12 championship game and any time Stanford plays USC the stakes are always high, as is the level of
competition on the field. The following Saturday the Army Black Knights come to campus for what should be one of the most
thrilling games of the year. The final home game of the year will take place on November 15th when the Cardinal take on the
Utah Utes at Stanford Stadium. The final home game is a chance for fans to show their appreciation for the players who are
playing in Stanford Stadium for the final time, as well as an opportunity to give the team a big send off as they get ready
to play in a bowl game and hopefully the PAC 12 championship game. Other home games for the Cardinal in 2014 include match
ups against UC Davis, Washington State, and Oregon State. Get your tickets for all of the big Stanford Cardinal football games

Stanford has been one of the elite teams not only in the PAC 12 but in all
of college football for several years now and they enter the 2014 season as the defending two-time PAC 12 champions. Quarterback
Kevin Hogan is ready to once again light up the scoreboard and will have many of his favorite receivers lining up beside him.
Just as Hogan will lead the offense, expect Henry Anderson to be in charge of the defense as he looks to become yet another
Stanford All-American. Many of the best college football players in the country will take the field for the Cardinal this
year so fans can expect nothing short of excellence on the gridiron. You will want to be there right from the opening kick
off as the Cardinal look to earn an unprecedented third straight PAC 12 title.
Cardinal football evokes a level of enthusiasm and passion that is unlike anything found at the professional level. Cheering
for your alma mater or favorite school and watching the student athletes lay it all on the line for school pride and a shot
at playing at the next level is one of the most intense feelings in all of sports. College football fans plan their entire
Saturday to celebrate everything that comes with the game. These hard core fans get up early and head off to the stadium parking
lot for tailgating before the game. Once inside the stadium, fans join together to make as much noise as possible and help
the home team leave with a victory. It is incredibly thrilling to be in the crowd when the star player takes the ball into
the end zone for a big win. When you head out for a Stanford Cardinal football game you are sure to experience all of the
excitement that comes with a top tier college football game. The parking lot at Stanford Stadium will be filled with people
gearing up for the big game, grilling up some grub and sipping on a few beverages as well. It's all one big lead up to the
main event, which is the game itself. There is simply no better way to spend a day off than at a college football game cheering
and celebrating with thousands of other hard core fans.
Stanford Cardinal PAC 12 Football
play in the PAC 12 conference which is annually one of the top conferences in all of football. One of the things that makes
the PAC 12 so special is that each of the schools who were members of the PAC 10 have in-state rivals with whom they engage
in bitter battles each season. Teams like UCLA, Oregon, Stanford, and USC are the traditional powerhouses in the conference
but all of the other schools in the conference are capable of pulling off big upsets and seemingly coming from out of nowhere
to win their division as Arizona State did in 2013 when they emerged as the champions of the PAC 12 South. If you are looking
to see some of the best college football games of the year featuring athletes competing at the highest level you have come
to the right place in the PAC 12.
Despite all of the great players Stanford has produced, the only
one to win a Heisman was Jim Plunkett. However, three Stanford players have finished second in voting for the award: John
Elway, Toby Gerhart, and Andrew Luck who was a runner-up twice, first in 2010 and then again in 2011.
