Stanford Stadium Events

Stanford Stadium is one of the biggest football stadiums in all of California! Known for hosting some of the loudest and largest crowds in college football, Stanford Stadium gives fans an experience like nothing they've seen before. The stadium was originally built in 1921 in quite a hurry. Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley were in a race to see who could build a stadium first. This prompted Stanford to build their stadium in just four months. It was the second biggest stadium at the time, with the capacity to hold more than 60,000 spectators.

By the end of the 1930s, the stadium was equipped to hold more than 85,000 cheering Cardinal fans. Today, the stadium is one of the most technologically advanced stadiums in the country, with high-definition video screens and scoreboard. Stanford Stadium isn't only about the American football, however, as soccer is also a big hit when teams like the L.A. Galaxy come to the pitch at Stanford Stadium looking to light up the back of the net. Whatever you're looking for, Stanford Stadium is likely to have something for you.
