Scottish indie-pop band Camera Obscura unfailingly draws comparisons to fellow Glaswegians Belle and Sebastian (they’ve even employed one of the latter band’s members, Richard Colburn). But they still have a style and sound distinctly their own. Lovers of all things twee pop will fall in love with the band after hearing them play live.
The band formed in 1996, slowly cultivating a following until 2001, when infamous British DJ John Peel brought them to wider acclaim.
