Ficklen Stadium. It was first called James Skinner Ficklen Memorial Stadium when it first opened in 1963. It earned the
Dowdy part of its name in the 1990s, when a $1 million donation by Ron and Mary Ellen Dowdy led to a major renovation of the
stadium. The stadium now features a capacity of 50,000.
