Each year, the Music City Bowl provides top-notch competition, and that was especially true during the 2010 Music City
Bowl. The game was between the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Tennessee Volunteers. It went into double overtime, and the
Tar Heels eventually walked away with the win. This year's competition could be the same type of competition.
Nashville is a city that holds fast to its traditions. In 1997, the Nashville Sports Council had the mission of bringing
an NCAA football bowl game to
Music City. The dream became a reality the next year, and the first Music City Bowl was held in 1998. Each year, a new chapter
is added to the growing history of the Music City Bowl.
Nashville has many historic venues, like LP
Field. LP Field first opened in 1999 and has hosted sports, concerts and many other events. In addition to hosting the
Music City Bowl every year, LP Field is also the home of the Tennessee Titans of the NFL, the Tennessee State Tigers and the
CMA Music Festival. LP Field features a capacity of more than 69,000.
Once you have decided to check out the Music City Bowl, don't go alone. One of the best ways to enjoy top-notch college
football is to bring your friends with you. The action at LP Field will make everyone in your group want to make it a yearly
tradition. Act early in order to reserve sports tickets
for everyone in your group.
