Neko Case was born in Alexandria, VA but spent most of the childhood in Tacoma, WA. Her solo debut appeared in 1997, titled The Virginian, a mix of country covers and originals, leading her to perform with Carolyn Mark and the Corn Sisters. This collaboration helped develop the New Pornographers, the indie group that worked around Washington and developed several albums together before Case once again turned her attention to a solo career.
After years working in the music industry, Neko Case really knew how to belt out great and funky country tunes and beat down on the guitar. The singer who originally fronted the cult classic the New Pornographers is returning to the stage with her latest solo effort, Middle Cyclone, which has yet to be released but is already garnering loads of critical and commercial acclaim.
