Sugarland was originally a trio of country artists that formed in the Atlanta area. However, the band was reduced to Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush after Kristen Hall left the band early in 2006. Each of the members has a background in folk and acoustic rock. The band has appeared on television several times, performing both their original works and covers of other artists.
