Mercedes-Benz Superdome History
The Mercedes-Benz Superdome is a domed venue located in New Orleans, LA. This structure
was built in the early 1970s and opened in 1975. The Superdome has served as the home venue of the National Football League's
New Orleans Saints since then, aside from a period in the mid-2000s when the venue was closed due to damage from Hurricane
Katrina. The Superdome suffered extensive damage during Hurricane Katrina and has since gone through some major renovations.
The multi-purpose venue now boasts some of the most up to date facilities in the United States. Fantastic lounges, tons of
great concessions, full service bars and endless options for entertainment, it's a favorite spot for everything from Wrestlemania
to the Super Bowl to awesome music festivals. Most of its visitors, however, are die-hard sports fans looking to see some
