Tampa Bay Rays Spring Training Tickets

Tampa Bay Rays Spring Training tickets - Rays Spring Training Schedule

2015 Tampa Bay Rays Spring Training Schedule

For the Rays, it all gets started in spring training, as this is the time of year that all of the best ballplayers in the world gear up to start another season of Major League Baseball. Both the Grapefruit League and the Cactus League have some great moments each and every year, and one of the teams that always generates plenty of fanfare is Tampa Bay. Thanks to a very strong offense led by Evan Longoria and pitching staff led by Alex Cobb and Chris Archer, the Rays are sure to once again be a major player in the A.L. East, though it's never easy as they go up against division rivals like the Rays, Red Sox, Yankees and Orioles. As they look to round into form and give their fans something to cheer about, it's the perfect season to head over to Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte to be a part of the excitement.

This is a team that can do a little bit of everything, with plenty of ballplayers who can turn the direction of a big game in a real hurry as they look to once again be a big-time factor in the American League. But watching them at home just won't do this team justice, which is why it's always a good idea to put down the remote so you can see the action up close and personal. Though it didn't all work out for the Rays in 2014, they also showed some serious promise, battled through some injuries and pointed out that this is a team that has a lot of fight, which sets up another great season in which absolutely anything can happen.

As the Rays take on the rest of the teams in the Grapefruit League, you're sure to see some amazing moments throughout, from skyscraping homers to spectacular snags to electrifying stolen bases that will have you jumping out of your seat in no time. Charlotte Sports Park, just a hop from both Fort Myers and Sarasota, has gained the reputation of being the place to be for all of the hottest action of the spring, making it the perfect spot for all of the Rays' fans to congregate once again this season.

Tampa Bay Rays Team Info

Thanks to a very strong overall offense and some serious talent in the pitching staff, the Rays are sure to once again be a major player in the A.L. East, the division frequently credited with being as good as it gets when it comes to Major League Baseball. This is a team that can do a little bit of everything, with plenty of ball players who can turn the direction of a big game in a real hurry as they look to once again be a big-time factor in the American League. But watching them at home just won't do this team justice, which is why it's always a good idea to put down the remote so you can see the action up close and personal. In the spring, the Rays get to flash some of their long-term upside as some of the stars of tomorrow get a little more playing time, helping to create an extra level of intrigue during a series of matchups that already has plenty.

Spring Training the Experience

When two talented ball clubs take to the diamond for an exciting match-up, there is only one place to be, and it definitely isn't sitting on your couch wondering how the game is getting on. Baseball has been around for well over a century, giving it enough time to gain the reputation as one of the most popular sports in the entire world. But even though baseball is now played at a high level all over the world, Major League Baseball is still the premier league for a reason, and it isn't because there is a lack of talent on the diamond. The Grapefruit League routinely offers some incredible action every season as the top athletes in the sport tune up for the season, providing all kinds of excitement for the fans who head out to the diamond to be a part of the action.

Tampa Bay Rays History

The Rays fans have seen their fair share of great major leaguers pass through Tropicana Field, notably Wade Boggs and Fred McGriff, but there are always a few stars that are looking to take their game to the next level. The A.L. East is no joke thanks to tough teams like Boston, New York, Baltimore and Toronto, though the Rays always have a talented team that can battle it out with anyone on the diamond. Even though the Rays are known to not have the same payroll as some of the other teams in the division, they've proven again and again that they can more than hold their own, making them one of those teams that are simply never out of it for long.

Tampa Bay Rays Trivia

Do you know who has the most doubles in a season in franchise history?

The answer is Aubrey Huff, who smacked 47 doubles during a great 2003 season for the Rays, a mark that has so far held.

Tampa Bay Rays Fans

The Rays play their home games at the new Tropicana Field, which has a capacity of more than 42,000 screaming Rays' fans. Tropicana Field has been the perfect backdrop to some of the most memorable baseball games in recent years, and the Rays are a team with a very bright future ahead of them thanks to a talented farm team and an organization that seems to always be bringing in fresh superstars on the rise. But you also don't have to wait until the regular season games at Tropicana, as you can head out to Charlotte Sports Park and see the team during a great spring break sneak preview. If you've never actually made it out to spring training, though, there has never been a better time to join your fellow fans and change that as the Rays look to build yet another contender.
