Target Center

The arena originally opened in 1990, but has been under the management of several different companies and even the city of Minneapolis. But this Minnesota treasure has never lost its luster, and it still maintains its beauty and its fan-friendly atmosphere. In fact, major renovations in 2004 replaced more than 19,000 seats and made way for an additional 1,500 seats that were considered to be more fan-friendly. And they had the fans in mind when they replaced the old scoreboard and signage with screens that are made up of LED lights. This improved the look and feel of the arena and gave fans a clearer picture of what was happening on the court. The location of the entrance was changed, two glass atriums were added, and a giant neon "Target Dog" was added to the side of the building, which makes its sponsorship unmistakable. All of these renovations and remodels have been to improve the overall event experience.
