and returning upperclassmen, a deadly combination that could propel this team to the top of the conference standings in 2013-14.
The SEC is no cakewalk, and any team that calls this conference home has to play some great basketball at home each and every
season. The Vols put together a solid 2013-13 campaign last season, notching 20 wins and going 11-7 in conference play. That
was good enough for the sixth spot in the conference standings at the end of the regular season, and these players know that
they're going to have to elevate their level of play if they're to rise to the top of the SEC this time around. Fans will
pack into the arena to be a part of all the thrilling action that Tennessee home games have to offer, and you can join them
this season to see what it's all about.
The Vols have a huge game coming their way on March 1st when the Vanderbilt
Commodores hit the court in Knoxville for one of the most anticipated matchups of the season. Not only are the Commodores
a conference foe, but they're also the Vols' biggest rival. Each year these teams play at least twice, and they're always
some of the most intense and heated contests of the season. Nothing would please Tennessee fans more than to see their Vols
hand the Commodores a loss in person.
Tennessee will close out their home schedule on March 8th when they host the Missouri
Tigers. The Tigers will be on the prowl for a big victory this season, but the Vols won't be giving up easily. The final home
game of the season is one that always sees the fans come out in droves, so the Vols should have a great crowd behind them
as they try to finish out the regular season on a high note.
