Tennessee Titans Schedule

Tennessee Titans Schedule - Titans Schedule

Tennessee Titans Schedule

The Tennessee Titans are looking to make all other teams feel tiny this season as they take on some of the top teams in the league. The Titans have a multitude of huge match-ups in 2014, and fans lucky enough to get tickets to some of these games will be extremely glad they did. The Titans play in the AFC South Division, which also features the Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans, three teams that Tennessee takes on each and every season. Those are some of the most popular Titans games, but there are plenty of other great match-ups on the docket in 2014 as well.

The Indianapolis Colts were able to win the AFC South title in 2013, so the Titans will be gunning for them this season. The Titans will play the Colts twice, and getting a pair of wins would be huge for this club. Stopping quarterback Andrew Luck will be stop one in taking down the Colts, something much easier said than done. The Titans will also look forward to their two games with the Houston Texans, a club that stumbled last season but could be in for a rebounds campaign in 2014. The Texans have a lot of playmakers on both sides of the ball, and talent means a lot in the National Football League. The biggest Titans fans will be on hand for as many games as possible this season, whether at home at LP Field or on the road.

Tennessee Titans Team Info

The Tennessee Titans won three of their first four contests in 2013, but the season was derailed when young quarterback Jake Locker went down with a serious injury. Locker was looking like he was ready to experience a breakout season for the Titans in 2013, so fans are hoping that 2014 will bring that performance out of the youngster. Locker is one of the most physically gifted signal callers in the National Football League, and that allows him to do things that most pro QBs simply can't. He needs to work on his passing accuracy, but was showing good signs in that regard last season before being sidelined. The team is hoping to get another fine season out of running back Chris Johnson, who has put together some incredible years for this Titans team. With playmakers like Johnson and Locker, the upside for the Tennessee offense is considerable. If the Titans defense can play well in 2014, this team could contend for a playoff spot, potentially the AFC South title, which would be music to Titans fans' ears.
