Bassist Brian Wheat was barely out of his teens when he met 15-year-old guitarist Frank Hannon and formed City Kidd, a band that spent a lot of time jamming at the now defunct Oasis Ballroom. By 1986, the band shifted creative direction under their new moniker, Tesla. The band's original lineup was comprised of frontman Jeff Keith, guitarists Tommy Skeoch and Frank Hannon, bassist Brian Wheat and drummer Troy Luccketta. To date, the band's resume has been highlighted by such career milestones as: a world tour launched in 2007 with dates in Japan, Europe and Australia; a 2008 tour which included stops in Europe and the U.S. featuring Graspop Metal Meeting, Rocklahoma and the Sweden Rock Festival; and a rally appearance for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association.
