Texas A&M Aggies Football Schedule

Football is king in Texas and perhaps in no part of Texas does this hold more true than in College Station, home of the Texas A&M Aggies football team. The 2013 season had its ups and downs but was always thrilling with the sensational Johnny Manziel under center. The Aggies finished with a 4-4 SEC record and a 9-4 overall record. They suffered some close defeats at the hands of ranked opponents but made it to the Chick-fil-a Bowl where they faced Duke, the second place team from the ACC. After falling behind by 21 points in the first half the Aggies managed a thrilling come from behind win that marked their first and only win against a ranked opponent in 2013.

The home opener of the 2014 season will take place on Septemeber 6th at Kyle Field when the Lamar Cardnials come to town. The home opener is always full of excitement and fans who have been starving for a live college football game for months. There are plenty of other big games during the SEC season to choose from as well. On November 15th the Missouri Tigers come to town in a game that could well decide who plays for the SEC Championship. On the 27th the always tough LSU Tigers take on the Aggies at Kyle Field to close out the home schedule. Be sure to get out and support Texas A&M during the 2014 season and check out all of the games scheduled for Kyle Field right here on StubHub.

The Team

The Texas A&M Aggies are a Division I college football program that participates in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The SEC is one of the best conferences in the college football ranks, often sending a team to the National Title Game. The Aggies had a good 2013 season but finished fourth in the SEC West with a 4-4 conference record. The Aggies have their sights set on the SEC title in 2014, and they might just have enough offensive firepower to get the job done this season. With an explosive offensive unit that is capable of scoring with the best teams in the nation, the Aggies should be in contention for a win in any game they play in this season. It will not necessarily be smooth sailing for the Aggies though as they will have to replace sophomore quarterback Johnny Manziel who left for the NFL Draft. Coach Kevin Sumlin won't be too worried though as several other key players are returning and highly ranked recruits like defensive end Myles Garret and the athletic Speedy Noil should be able to come right in and contribute. Keep an eye on the Aggies right from the start as this should be a fascinating season for the program.

The Experience

There is nothing better than seeing a sporting event live and in person. Sports have been a part of cultures around the world for a very long time, and spectators have always enjoyed watching athletes compete at the highest of levels. When you're there in the stands at a sporting event like this one, you're treated to seeing some of the most talented athletes in the entire world going head to head with everything on the line. There's nothing that compares to the atmosphere at a game, where you're surrounded by fans that are all there to enjoy a great spectacle of sport.

Fans of college athletics bring an intensity to the table that is paralleled by very few pro sports fans. There's something about the top level of amateur competition that really gets the crowd going. College football fans carve out their entire Saturday to celebrate all that comes with the game. These diehards are up early and off to the stadium parking lot for tailgating before the game. Once inside the stadium, they can be heard screaming their heads off for their favorite team to come out on top. It's a real thrill to be in the stands when the star player takes it into the end zone for the win.

When you head out for a big football game you're sure to experience all that comes with a gridiron clash. The parking lot at the stadium will be filled with people gearing up for the big game, grilling up some grub and sipping on a few beverages as well. It's all one big lead up to the main event, which is the game itself. It's all one great experience that really takes an entire day to appreciate, and you can be a part of it all when you head to a game.
