The Fargodome was originally set to be modeled after
the Tacoma Dome in Washington state and to feature an inflatable dome roof, but was given a permanent roof as the design plans
progressed. As one of the loudest venues in college sports, the Fargodome has crowd noise that regularly reaches 111 decibels
when the North Dakota Bison take the field for a football game and the noise exceeded 130 decibels regularly during the 2011
