        The Dangerous Summer formed in Ellicott City, Maryland in, you guessed it, the summer, of 2006. After releasing their first EP, There Is No Such Thing As Science, the post-rock band inked a deal with Hopeless Records. The Dangerous Summer's debut studio album, Reach for the Sun, arrived in 2009 and peaked at No. 42 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
