The Dead Weather formed in 2008 when The Raconteurs and The Kills were touring together. After Jack White came down with bronchitis, Mosshart agreed to sing a number of his songs. She got on so well with the band that White asked her to record with him, Lawrence and Fertita. They started with a cover of Gary Numan's "Are Friends Electric?" but found their chemistry irresistible.
The Dead Weather Tickets are now available! When this band released their debut record in 2009, Horehound, it surprise critics and earned the attention of many of White's previous fans. Each member of the band brings a slightly different influence to the band's brand of rock. If you've never heard them perform on stage, though, now is the time to get concert tickets.
