The Drums 2014 Tour Schedule
This indie pop band is responsible for infectiously fun songs like "Let's Go Surfing"
and "Money", and the Brooklyn-based musicians certainly know how to bring their insanely catchy tunes to life during their
concerts. The Drums have often been compared to bands like The Beach Boys and the Honeydrips, as their pleasant pop sounds
and structured falsettos are like a treat for the ears. But don't be fooled by their easygoing sound, as The Drums are well-known
for their darker lyrics, their songs often tinged with themes of death and mortality. With an entirely unique sound that has
piqued the attention of major indie music critics, it's safe to say that The Drums are one of the coolest and most unpredictable
bands in indie rock – and you don't want to miss seeing them perform live!
Since 2008, this eclectic indie duo
has been cranking out some truly interesting sounds, and now Jonathan Pierce and Jacob Graham are gearing up to bring their
contagious indie rock tunes to a stage near you! Starting this September, The Drums are making their way around North America,
stopping in cities like Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Washington DC, Toronto, Boston, Chicago, Englewood, Salt Lake City, Portland,
and Seattle, and this upcoming tour is already generating plenty of buzz throughout the indie community.

The Drums Background
The Drums' founding members, Jonathan
Pierce and Jacob Graham, first met as childhood friends at a bible camp. The two friends later decided to form a band together,
and they named their project Goat Explosion. This bizarre and funky electro-pop group never achieved much success, but it
was the first taste of the music world for the two aspiring artists. Pierce and Graham came up with the idea for The Drums
in 2008, and they relocated to Brooklyn, New York in 2009 to further pursue their dreams of music. In order to complete their
band, the duo scouted out some more musicians, and once Adam Kessler and Connor Hanwick were brought on board, the band's
initial lineup was complete.
The Drums scored their first live performance within a week of moving to Brooklyn, and
they killed it on stage at the NYC Pop Fest in 2009. Shortly afterward, the group released their debut album, Summertime!,
which featured six songs and sparked an interest amongst the indie music community for their fresh and fun new sound. By 2010,
The Drums were appearing on countless Artists to Watch lists, and were even shortlisted as one of BBC Sound's top 15 musical
acts of the year. In 2009, The Drums were the most Shazamed band of the year, as more and more listeners started to discover
the insanely catchy tunes of this up and coming band.
Over the past few years, The Drums' popularity has only continued
to grow. Each new album and single earns the band even more fans and even more praise from music critics, and the two longtime
friends Pierce and Graham have continued to crank out seriously awesome indie rock tunes together. Now you have the opportunity
to see this acclaimed indie rock outfit perform live in concert at one of their upcoming North American shows, and this is
one band every indie music fan should see at least once! Head to StubHub to grab your tickets to an upcoming Drums show and
