They began as a band of young musicians who epitomized 90s youth. They skateboarded in their free time and kept much of the
style of the grunge era. But, as they matured, their sound became something different. Although the essence of who they were
was always there, they began to experiment with other styles of musics and have even become popular in the dance-punk music
world. Check StubHub for all of the latest tour dates and information about The Faint, and snag some tickets to a show near

the release of their 2008 album, Fasciinatiion, some of the members of The Faint, including Clark Baechle, Todd Fink and Jacob
Thiele, began working on a side project called Depressed Buttons. They have kept this musical collaboration somewhat of a
secret while promoting and performing as The Faint. The Depressed Buttons have performed as DJs and music producers at venues

About the Artist
The Faint began out of a need for Todd Fink to get his mind off of
his skateboarding injuries. He developed an interest in music and realized that he also had a talent for it. He recruited
Clarke Baechle to play drums and Joel Petersen to play bass and guitar. It wasn't long before the group was signing with Saddle
Creek Records and releasing their first singles. The band added Matt Bowen and released their first album, Media. Although
they were somewhat a product of the post-grunge environment, they always went against the grain, finding new ways to challenge
their audience and bring out the best in their music.
They pushed the envelope once again with their second album, Blank-Wave
Arcade, which showcased their dance music influences. This techno-inspired album was a breath of fresh air to the music world,
and the album became a huge underground hit. Their next album played to their new dance music fans. The music was made even
better by the addition of guitarist, formerly of the death metal group LEAD, Dapose. The new group released 2004's Wet from
Birth and 2008's Fasciinatiion. These albums were also well-received and showed audiences that The Faint had staying power.
continued to have success throughout the next few years, gaining fans both as a group and in their solo work. But before they
came back together to create their latest album, the band took some time off to follow their own musical paths and find inspiration.
In 2013, the band found each other once again and began working on Doom Abuse. The band used a stream-of-consciousness technique
in order to find the right music and lyrics for their latest project. With a new depth and maturity to their sound, and the
same entertainment factor they've had since they first burst onto the scene in the late 1990s, The Faint has become one of
the most popular bands of the decade. Don't miss your chance to be there when this dynamic group takes the stage once more.
