The Kooks Concert Schedule
This British rock band is responsible for catchy tunes like "Naïve" and "She Moves
in Her Own Way", both of which have made a huge impression in the indie music community. Since forming in 2004, The Kooks
have carved out a unique spot in music with their post-punk vibes and irresistibly fun tunes, and they haven't slowed down
one bit over the years. Instead of falling into a cookie-cutter mold like many other rock bands in their genre, The Kooks

the most fun and unique rock sounds around.
The Kooks have several Top 40 hits in their rock repertoire, and now you
have the chance to see them perform live in concert as they head out on tour this fall. Starting in September, The Kooks will

The Kooks Background
members of The Kooks met back in 2002 when they were students at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music. All of the members
bonded over their mutual love for music and inspirations like David Bowie, the Police, and The Rolling Stones (they even got
their name from a David Bowie song). After recording a demo tape, the band crossed their fingers and sent it out to various
record labels, and quickly received great interest from executives and labels. The Kooks signed to Virgin Records just four
months after coming together as a band, which is almost unheard of in the music industry. Even the record labels recognized
the band's incredible star potential by listening to just a few of their songs on their demo tape.
Their first album,
Inside In/Inside Out, launched The Kooks into the music spotlight, as it featured hit songs like "Naïve", "She Moves
in Her Own Way", and "Ooh La". The album peaked at the number two spot on British music charts and stayed there for two whole
weeks, solidifying the fact that these newcomers had become one of the most exciting bands in rock. Ultimately, The Kooks
not only found incredible commercial success, but they also earned significant critical acclaim for their songs. They have
accumulated numerous awards and accolades over the years, including Brit Award nominations and MTV Europe Video Music Awards
For anybody who loves some catchy rock tunes, The Kooks will certainly tantalize your love of music. The
