The Legwarmers Background
Legwarmers first formed in 2001, when Cru Jones and Gordon Gartrell went out to a tribute show and were once again disturbed
by how badly the band butchered their favorite '80s songs. As many music fans know, there are only a handful of tribute bands
that can do the original songs justice, and so when Jones and Gartrell realized that there wasn't an Eighties' tribute band
out there that could deliver a great show, they decided to form their own band. The two musicians brought several more artists
into the fold, and the lineup now consists of Chet Reno, Cyndi Sindee, Lavaar Huxtable, Capt. Morgan Pondo, Clarence McFly,
Jones, and Cru. This all-star lineup started working on perfecting some of their favorite '80s hits, and before they knew
it, they were wowing and exciting audiences all over Washington DC!
With so many talented musicians on one stage, the
show is bound to be great, but when you put these seven artists together and give them a set list of '80s tunes, magic happens.
The Legwarmers definitely know how to put on a rip-roaring show for their audiences, and their fans never fail to leave their
