About The Oh Hellos
Hailing from San Marcos, Texas, the Oh Hellos are one of the most promising
new folk bands. Comprised of brother and sister Maggie Heath and Tyler Heath, the Oh Hellos got their start in 2011, although
Tyler Heath had been creating music for several years. Once Maggie Heath joined him, they began working on their debut album.
The Oh Hellos' self-titled debut album was independently released in 2011, followed by "Through the Deep, Dark Valley" in
2012, and "The Oh Hellos' Family Christmas Album" in 2013. The band has already been compared to acts from the likes of The
Lumineers and Mumford & Sons.
Drawing inspiration from traditional Irish folk songs and bands like The Civil Wars
and The Pogues, the Oh Hellos' music results in a wonderful blend of eclectic folk rock. With their gentle melodies and upbeat
instrumentals, their albums sound like the perfect soundtrack to a trip to the mountains, or a lakeside retreat. Fans of indie
folk rock just can't get enough of the Oh Hellos, and they are certainly a band to keep your eye on in the next coming years.
The Oh Hellos' Breakthrough Album
After Tyler Heath began working on recording his own material, his sister Maggie
Heath soon joined him, forming the Oh Hellos. This brother/sister duo has recently released three albums, and it's clear that
they are rising to becoming one of the most promising new acts in the indie folk rock scene. With influences ranging from
traditional Irish folk songs to contemporary artists, this duo has perfected the art of creating a finely crafted indie folk
song. Although they are still independent, their music has been gaining a lot of popularity lately and they are certainly
creating buzz in the indie world. Their catchy music is also starting to attract the attention of the mainstream scene too,
as one of their songs recently appeared on an episode of the television series "Parenthood." As the Oh Hellos continue to
establish themselves, you don't want to miss your chance to see them in concert as they rise to fame. Be sure to get out there
and check out their concert on their upcoming tour.

continued writing together. By 2011, the Oh Hellos were officially a band.
