The Promise Ring joined forces after some jam sessions in 1995. They were quickly signed to the independent record label,
Jade Tree. The band stayed with the label through 2001, releasing the albums; 30 Degrees Everywhere, Nothing Feels Good and
Very Emergency. During this time, their notoriety continued to grow and they developed a hard-core fan base. In 2002, they
recorded their fourth album, Wood/Water with Epitaph's subsidiary record label, Anti.
In 2012, The Promise Ring's announced their first reunion since 2005, when they performed at the Flower 15 Festival at
the Metro in Chicago. They have played a number of great venues and festivals since the announcement came out. Check their
