The Sound of Animals Fighting Background

The Sound of Animals Fighting was established by RX Bandits member, Rich Balling. The group issued a trilogy of works between 2004 and 2008 and only put on four rare live performances in Southern California and Las Vegas. Anthony Green (Circa Survive), Matt Embree (RX Bandits) and Technology (Chris Tsagakis' side project) served as the openers.

When the band appears in public, they don what can be described as cute or maybe a bit unsettling children's Halloween masks.

But in this day and age, the identity of the band members hasn't remained a secret for long. The overall consensus is that Rich Balling is the singer and producer behind The Sound of Animals Fighting.

The revolving outfit released its first album, Tiger and Duke, in 2005, followed by their 2006 album, Lover, The Lord Has Left Us.

The Sound of Animals Fighting Hit Albums

The Sound of Animals Fighting has released three studio albums, which include Tiger and the Duke (2005); Lover, the Lord Has Left Us... (2006); and The Ocean and the Sun (2008).

They additionally put out the DVD, We Must Become the Change We Want to See in 2007.

The Sound of Animals Fighting Trivia

The Sound of Animals Fighting appear in the public eye only in Halloween masks with cartoon animals on them. And since the band is a consistently revolving musical collective, they are only referenced as the critters their masks symbolize. For instance, on their very first album, The Tiger and the Duke, the Bear, the Lynx, the Walrus, the Ferret, the Armadillo, the Nightingale, the Octopus, the Hyena, the Llama, the Skunk, the Dog, the Swan, the Tortoise, the Raven and the Tiger are listed.
