About The Band
in 2007 out of Walnut Creek, California, The Story So Far are just the kind of band that the world needed to spice up the
music scene from the stagnating monotony that it seems to have been going through. The group came together out of a love for
the classic emo bands as well as the energetic, frenetic, and always fun pop-punk bands that have graced the music scene with
their presence, and The Story So Far has been making waves ever since. They first hit the scene with their debut album "Under
Soil And Dirt" in 2011 to great praise by people who were in the know enough to actually know about the band, while the mainstream
public mostly missed out on this gem of a band. But that all came to change in 2013 when the group released their sophomore
effort out into the wild under the name of "What You Don't See". Backed by actual press coverage and yet another solid entry,
The Story So Far has been rising through the ranks as a band to keep an eye on.
it takes a fair amount of time for a band worthy of the world's attention to actually get that attention, and The Story So
Far has been a band more than worthy ever since their first release, "Under Soil and Dirt". With a track list that doesn't
stop the good times from rolling from beginning to end, this was an incredible debut and first effort, but sadly they didn't
get the attention of the mainstream world of music for this great release. That's why it came down to their sophomore effort,
2013's "What You Don't See" to be a big enough hit to make their names ring throughout the music scene, and that it did. While
their debut was an album that only those interested in good, albeit hard to find, music, it was this second offering that
really brought it home, with the album making it's way up the charts. Making it onto four separate album charts such as The
Billboard 200 and Top Rock Albums, but they also made it into the top 10 on two other charts. It didn't hurt that the band
was not only listed in Alternative Press magazine's March 2013 issue "100 Bands You Need to Know", but they were also featured
on the cover. No matter what it was, The Story So Far has made it to the top and they are here to stay.
