About The Texas Tenors
The Texas Tenors would first pop into existence in 2009,
a hybrid creation that would mix the vocal idiosyncrasies of the pop, opera, and country genres. The Tenors is comprised of
the dynamic and far reaching talents of musicians JC Fisher, John Hagen, and Marcus Collins. JC has been a lifetime performer
and student of music, having spent his youth singing at church and his formative years majoring in music at Wichita State
University. JC's musical experience would extend over multiple mediums and countries, from major stage productions to Miss
America Pageants to Lucca, Italy's Puccini Festival. The culmination of JC's musical career prior to forming the Tenors would
be his famed one man show, performed on dozens of cruise ships across the globe.
John Hagen would burst onto the music
scene in none other than New York City, one of the Meccas of Opera music. John has brought his musical talents all across
the United States, from performing in the Cedar Rapids Symphony in Nebraska to Carnegie Hall's Verismo Opera Competition.
Aside from his time on America's Got Talent, John has also received accolades for his performances of Beethoven's Ninth and
Rounding out the trio is Marcus Collins, the small town sensation whose reverence for greats like Brooks
and Michael pushed him to perform everywhere from major theaters in New York to the high seas on various cruise ships. Marcus'
media experience extends beyond just music, as he has displayed his acting chops across television, film, and interactive
JC, John, and Marcus would get their shot at fame in 2009, performing on the celebrated hit series America's
Got Talent. The band bursted meteorically onto the American mainstream, eventually placing fourth and cementing their place
in the hearts and minds of Americans across the country. Since then, the group has released a variety of original albums and
live DVDs. Their continued success has shown that their time on America's Got Talent was just the beginning of a monumental
and highly successful music career.
The band's major debut was their self titled The Texas
Tenors, dropping in 2009 and gaining solid success for a debut album. Their 2011 follow up Country Roots: Classical Sound
would be a remaster of their debut, and would garner even more success than the original. The band would make real waves across
the music industry with their 2013 release You Should Dream, which charted all across the spectrum, including a #3 spot on
the US Heat Billboard and a #6 spot on the US Classical Billboard. Growing off that momentum, the guys have released The Texas
Tenors Unplugged: Live from Larry's Country Diner - a live album that covers a large swathe of the Tenors' impressive discography.
Aside from their tour schedule, the band can always be caught performing at Branson, Missouri's Starlite
The band performs well as a vocalist group alone or as part of a larger ensemble. The band has at one point
features orchestras with upwards of sixty to seventy pieces.
