Gainesville has always been one of the hottest town in Florida, but when you want to plumb the depths of the town's nightlife, drop by The Vault. The dance club complex spans three floors and brings some of the biggest artists from the electronic music world to Gainesville throughout the year. In the past, concert tickets have allowed visitors to take in performances by Steve Aoki, MSTRKRFT and other major artists.
After opening in March of 2010, The Vault quickly earned a reputation for being a magnet for young crowds looking for an outstanding time on the weekend - or any time, really. There's always a party planned at The Vault, whether you are looking to experience live music from electronic artists or simply want to tip back a few drinks with friends and work up a sweat on the dancefloor.
The Vault is part of several entertainment venues that consistently bring new talent to Gainesville. Besides The Vault, there's MezzBar and Loft Lounge, and in 2011, the company that runs all three looks to open up a renovated Brick City Music Hall for live concerts. But when you want plain and simple dancing, this 16,000 square foot building is the perfect place to go.
