The Wonder Years Background
Emerging from the ashes
of a band called Premier, The Wonder Years officially formed in 2005. The band consists of Nick Steinborn, Dan Campbell, Josh
Martin, Matt Brasch, Casey Cavaliere, and Mike Kennedy. The group started practicing and writing songs in a basement in Philadelphia,
and after building their repertoire, they released two split EPs. After releasing their EPs, The Wonder Years headed out on
a major tour, accumulating fans every time they rocked out on stage.
In 2007, The Wonder Years started to emerge on
the international music scene with their full length studio album, Get Stoked on It!, which they released under No Sleep Records.
This album was so successful that the band's fan base grew exponentially, and they were soon playing in much larger and much
more crowded venues than they ever had played in. The band's second album, The Upsides, scored spots on multiple music charts,
including the number five spot on the Alternative Artist chart and the number nine spot on the Top New Artist chart.
