Born as Clifford Harris in Atlanta, Georgia, T.I. has been releasing albums since 2001, when his debut, “I’m Serious,” hit the airwaves. It took him a little while to catch on to the mainstream, but the single “24s” in 2003 launched him into public knowledge, and made him a constant presence no matter what rap station you were tuned into.
