Tigers - Rangers

Tigers Rangers

Tigers - Rangers Schedule

The Detroit Tigers and Texas Rangers are ready to hit the diamond and do battle this season in what should be some of the best American League matchups of the year. These two teams will play a three-game set in Arlington from June 24 to June 26th that will have fans packing into Glove Life Stadium in big numbers. Both of these teams have their sights set on their respective division titles, and every game matters, even in the long 162-game season.

The Tigers have one of the best rosters in the American League, and they're considered by many to be the favorite to take home the American League Central crown this season. The Tigers have one of the best hitters that baseball has ever seen in Miguel Cabrera, who will be looking to put a hurtin' on the Rangers in 2014. The Tigers also have major talent on their pitching staff, with hurlers like Justin Verlander and Max Scherzer mowing down the competition. It's not going to be easy for Texas to get hits if they have to face either of these aces.

Texas has a good squad of their own, though, and could be some serious competition for a team like the Tigers. The Rangers are looking to earn the American League West title this season, and they're hoping that staff ace Yu Darvish will help them get there. The Japanese import has been great since entering the majors, and he is considered to be one of the best hurlers in the American League. If Darvish gets the hill against the Tigers it will be considered a must-see game by many baseball fans, and you can be there in person.
