Hailing from Omaha, Nebraska, Tilly and the Wall is an Indie pop group who named themselves after a children's book authored
by Leo Lionni. Not only is the band's name unique, but Tilly and the Wall also have a tap dancer, instead of a drummer. Catch

Founded in 2001, Tilly and the Wall formed after several Omaha groups disbanded. Tilly and the Wall debuted at an open-mic
night at the now extinct Ranch Bowl. Wool, the band's first release, was produced in a garage. It was a grassroots release
that was self-published and circulated at shows in the Omaha area. Tilly and the Wall's debut LP, Wild Like Children, released
in 2004, garnered the band some attention. The band was invited to do national tours with Rilo Kiley, Of Montreal and Bright
Eyes. In 2006, Bottom of the Barrels, was released.
Tilly and the Wall were invited to make an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman in 2006. They performed "Bad
Education." To promote their album, the band scheduled a number of live performances, including a tour with Jenny Lewis. Their
latest album, "Heavy Mood," is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2012.
Tilly and the Wall released a single "Pot Kettle Black," which was included in a pilot episode of 90210. It was
also featured in TV spots for Observe and Report, a Seth Rogan film, as well as the film Whip It. Check out Tilly and the
